AAA DOORS in Calgary, AB is inviting applications for the position of Construction estimator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• The candidate must advise on tendering procedures.
• The candidate must set up cost monitoring and reporting systems.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
• The candidate must liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be proactive.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
