Construction estimator

Civicon in Bolton, ON is seeking a self-motivated Construction estimator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
• The candidate must prepare estimates and bids for construction, renovation and restoration projects.
• The candidate must prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• The candidate must prepare detailed cost estimates.
• The candidate must review and evaluate new administrative procedures.
• The candidate must coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
• The candidate must assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
