Concrete forms carpenter

Pine Valley Corporation in Concord, ON is inviting applications for the position of Concrete forms carpenter. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• The candidate must review work orders to determine job specifications.
• The candidate must install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
