Concrete finisher

TNH Construction is situated in Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Concrete finisher to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• The candidate must direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
