YYC CUSTOM CONCRETE in Calgary, AB is inviting applications for the position of Concrete finisher. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
