Concrete finisher

SANDHU CONSTRUCTION GROUP LTD. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Concrete finisher. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
