Community rehabilitation worker

Community Based Intervention Program ( Stephenville, NL) is currently looking for a skilled Community rehabilitation worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. The schedule involves Day, , 08:30 to 16:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
• The candidate must assess offenders’ prospects for successful community reintegration.
• The candidate must assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
• The candidate must evaluate offenders' progress.
• The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
• The candidate must implement substance abuse treatment programs.
• The candidate must conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
• The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
• The candidate must maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must be accurate.
