Community rehabilitation worker

Community Based Intervention Program in Stephenville, NL is inviting applications for the position of Community rehabilitation worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, , 08:30 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
• The candidate must assess offenders’ prospects for successful community reintegration.
• The candidate must assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
• The candidate must evaluate offenders' progress.
• The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
• The candidate must implement substance abuse treatment programs.
• The candidate must conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
• The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
• The candidate must maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
