FastSigns Downtown Calgary is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Commercial and retail sign installer supervisor to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
