CNC (computer numerically controlled) brake press operator

Lockwood Industries Inc. is situated in Burlington, ON and is hiring a CNC (computer numerically controlled) brake press operator to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
• The candidate must cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• The candidate must lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a sheet metal shop to turn flat steel or aluminium sheets into metal structures or products by cutting, punching, folding and assembling.
