CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

CONTINENTAL GRANITE &MARBLE CO.LTD in Schomberg, ON is inviting applications for the position of CNC (computer numerical control) machinist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• The candidate must fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• The candidate must maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
