CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

Allied Tooling Technologies Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a self-motivated CNC (computer numerical control) machinist. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• The candidate must measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
