CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

Golden Glass & Shower Doors Ltd ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled CNC (computer numerical control) machinist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must repair machine tools and parts.
• The candidate must fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
