Cleaning supervisor

SPARKLEAN CLEANING SERVICES LTD ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Cleaning supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire and train cleaning staff or arrange appropriate training programs.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• The candidate must recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• The candidate must receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
• The candidate must assist cleaners in performing duties.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities with other departments.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
