Gunjan Maggo in Brampton, ON is seeking a self-motivated Cleaner, light duty. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must stock linen closets.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• Optional live-in accommodation (room and board) is available at no charge. It is not a condition of employment.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
• The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
