Class 1 truck driver

Ferme Lunick inc. ( Saint-Eugène-de-Guigues, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Class 1 truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
