Civil draftsperson

Nova Pole International Inc. ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Civil draftsperson. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must supervise drafting personnel.
• The candidate must train new drafting personnel.
• The candidate must develop and prepare design sketches.
• The candidate must prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
• The candidate must write technical reports.
• The candidate must write specifications.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• The candidate must examine drawings for conformity and errors.
• The candidate must consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements.
• The candidate must lead and instruct groups.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
