Charles-Alexandre Lacroix in Outremont, QC is seeking a self-motivated Child caregiver - private home. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
• The candidate must be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home, be capable of working at varied site locations, and understand that performance progression is reviewed annually.
