Amritpal Kaur in Surrey, BC is seeking a self-motivated Child caregiver - private home. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Flexible hours, , 09:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, as well as to scheduled appointments.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidate must help children with homework.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
