Private Household in Coquitlam, BC is inviting applications for the position of Child caregiver - private home. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Overtime required, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must change diapers as required.
• The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
• The candidate must sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, as well as to scheduled appointments.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
