Job Description

  • The candidate must diagnose diseases and physiological disorders.
  • The candidate must diagnose psychiatric disorders.
  • The candidate must prescribe medication and treatment.
  • The candidate must treat diseases and physiological disorders within scope of practice.
  • The candidate must treat psychiatric disorders.
  • The candidate must advise patients on health care.
  • The candidate must prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
  • The candidate must act as the patient advocate.
  • The candidate must participate in health care policy and planning.
  • The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
  • The candidate must inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.

  • The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
  • The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
