Chemical plant labourer

Verco International inc. in L'Isle-Verte, QC is seeking a self-motivated Chemical plant labourer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Overtime available, , 07:30 to 15:45 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment.
• The candidate must assist in the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• The candidate must operate equipment from control rooms or consoles near production units.
• The candidate must monitor reaction processes and product transfers in compliance with safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be bilingual.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
