Cellular telephone technician

Sunshine Communications Inc. is situated in Brampton, ON and is hiring a Cellular telephone technician to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• The candidate must complete and maintain test and service reports.
• The candidate must determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
• The candidate must initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in testing services to conduct evaluations, perform quality checks, and ensure products, materials, or systems meet established standards and specifications.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
