Cashier

Shanes in The Pas, MB is seeking a self-motivated Cashier. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must perform data entry.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
