Cashier supervisor - retail

DROP HOUSE EATERY & COFFEE ( Fort McMurray, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier supervisor - retail. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design teams.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must manage cash.
• The candidate must oversee payroll administration.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in a coffee shop that provides patrons with a place to congregate, talk, read, write, entertain one another, or pass the time, whether individually or in small groups.
