Cashier

Circle K convenience Store ( Olds, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must perform suggestive selling.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must monitor all entrances and exits and request proof of payment when necessary.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
