Remark Fresh Markets ( London, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Cashier. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must weigh produce and bulk foods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
