Castlegar Bottle Depot is situated in Castlegar, BC and is hiring a Cashier to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must assist customers with self-checkout.
• The candidate must calculate foreign currency exchange.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be dependable.
