CHEVRON in Tumbler Ridge, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cashier. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must accept reservations or take-out orders.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must calculate foreign currency exchange.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
