Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District ( North Bay, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Case management social worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time.

Job Description

• The candidate must interview clients individually, in families, or in groups to assess their situations and determine the types of services required.
• The candidate must plan assistance programs for clients.
• The candidate must serve as a member of an interdisciplinary professional team working with client groups.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a community service organization providing outreach and support services.

Additional Information

Security and Safety

• The candidate must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must have their own vehicle.
