Alliance Carpet & Flooring Ltd is situated in Abbotsford, BC and is hiring a Carpet layer to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
• The candidate must inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
• The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
• The candidate must remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
• The candidate must install carpeting on walls or other surfaces.
• The candidate must employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting.
• The candidate must perform direct glue-down carpet installations.
• The candidate must perform double-bond carpet installations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
