MILITARY HOMES CONSTRUCTION LTD is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Carpenter to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
