Carpenter

V-CAN Venture Capital Ltd in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Carpenter. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
