Sidhu Roofing Ltd in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Carpenter. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
