Carpenter

RCM Property Maintenance is situated in Dartmouth, NS and is hiring a Carpenter to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
