KEYSTONE CONCRETE WORKS in Calgary, AB is inviting applications for the position of Carpenter. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
