Excellent Kitchen and Cabinets Ltd is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Cabinetmaker to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
• The candidate must trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
