Cabinetmaker apprentice

G5 Industries in Surrey, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cabinetmaker apprentice. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves , 07:00 to 15:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• The candidate must trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a custom cabinet shop to install kitchen and bathroom cabinets and fittings to new or renovation work and shop fittings.
