The Beefway in Kincardine, ON is seeking a self-motivated Butcher - wholesale. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Shift, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a butcher shop to process, prepare, and handle meat products while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
• The candidate should work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment that protects meat and meat products during processing, storage, and distribution from mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards.
