Haveli Bistro in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Butcher - retail or wholesale. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.
• The candidate must cut poultry into parts.
• The candidate must clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• The candidate must grind meats.
• The candidate must slice cooked meats.
• The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
