Canning Village Meat Market Inc. in Kingsport, NS is inviting applications for the position of Butcher, retail. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must wrap and package prepared meats.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.
• The candidate must weigh meats for sale.
• The candidate must cut poultry into parts.
• The candidate must price meat products.
• The candidate must clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• The candidate must sell meats to customers.
• The candidate must cut fish into steaks and fillets.
• The candidate must grind meats.
• The candidate must make special sausages.
• The candidate must slice cooked meats.
• The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.

• The candidate should work in wholesalers, purchase their products from a manufacturer or distributor and then sell them to another retailer to market them to end customers.
