Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus is situated in Halifax, NS and is hiring a Bus mechanic to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a garage.
