Building maintenance worker

U-Auto Wash or Splash &Go Car Wash is situated in Edson, AB and is hiring a Building maintenance worker to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• The candidate must perform safety and security checks.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• The candidate must clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
