Building cleaner

Universal Realty Group in Halifax, NS is seeking a self-motivated Building cleaner. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must provide basic information on facilities.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
