Job Description
- The candidate must prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units.
- The candidate must estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
- The candidate must lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
- The candidate must read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
- The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
- The candidate must cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
- The candidate must supervise other workers.
- The candidate must lay radial bricks to construct masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
- The candidate must lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
- The candidate will be responsible for lining and relining furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks, refractory concretes, plastic refractories, and other specialized materials.

- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The candidate should be client-focused.
- The candidate must be reliable.
- The candidate must be a good team player.
- The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
Work Setting
- The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
- The candidate should work in the industrial area with facilities such as factories, plants, processing operations, and similar operations.
