Bread slicer operator

Grey Matlock Bakery in Etobicoke, ON is inviting applications for the position of Bread slicer operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
• The candidate must perform corrective machine adjustments.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• The candidate must make adjustments to process variables.
• The candidate must maintain a shift log of production and other data.
• The candidate must set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• The candidate must check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be resourceful.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
