Boom truck crane operator

ABCO Crane Services is situated in Nisku, AB and is hiring a Boom truck crane operator to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate crane capacities.
• The candidate must operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate must work in mines and quarries, performing tasks related to extraction, processing, and site safety operations.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work at logging sites to harvest timber, operate machinery, and ensure safety compliance.
• The candidate must work in an industrial plant, performing tasks related to production, maintenance, safety, and operational processes.
