Bookkeeper

METRO VAN CONSTRUCTION LTD in Richmond, BC is inviting applications for the position of Bookkeeper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
