Bartender

JUNGLE JIM'S RESTAURANT in Goulds, NL is inviting applications for the position of Bartender. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
• The candidate must clean the bar area and wash glassware.
• The candidate must clean draft beer systems.
• The candidate must advise on wine selection.
• The candidate must provide recommendations on drink selections.
• The candidate must record and balance beverage sales.
• The candidate must store beverage and food products.
• The candidate must order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
