Barista

Bugaboos Bakery Cafe in Vernon, BC is inviting applications for the position of Barista. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate should work in a coffee shop that provides patrons with a place to congregate, talk, read, write, entertain one another, or pass the time, whether individually or in small groups.
